I think Mrazek would do well on the Flyers. He just needs out of Detroit. |

Go after Pickard. I would rather take an asset for an asset trade instead of an asset for a rental guy - who we all know is not that good. |

On the Flyers Goaltending....
Completely irresponsible handling of this position for a couple of decades |

Mrazek showed a few years ago that he could be a good goalie in the NHL. He has come on lately, if he could ever get over the character issues, he could be a steal for a third round pick.
From the Flyers stand point, I think they are basically just biding time until Hart breaks out in a few years. I like the direction they are headed in under Hextal, just have to rid themselves of a few more bad contracts. They could really use a right handed shot on the blue line. |

VERY few teams are interested in paying the crazy prices teams are seasoning for rentals...

I like it, make it so!
Could be a good deal for both the leafs and the Flyers, Sparks is having an unreal season on the Marlies and appears to be headed for the big show in the near future. Pickard is too good to be in the AHL, he deserves a shot. |

Lyon played well yesterday. Maybe he's the next Murray! Ya never know?
Since Pelly Lindberg, the FLyers haven't had a good goalie for more than a year or so. |

Sparks and Pickard are 1-2 in GAA and 2-3 is SV% in the AHL. They're playing fantastic.
I think Pickard would be a really good and cheap pickup for a team looking for a goalie. |

By the time the deadline comes and goes we'll probably see about three trades of significance and nothing else. It will be another dudd! Then all we'll hear about are draft trade rumors, and that will end up being another bust! With salary caps and many teams with internal budgets, wild trades are a thing of the past! |
